Our Night with the Springfield Cardinals

A friend of Chris' gave us tickets to the Springfield Cardinals game. The kids had a blast. These tickets included an all you can eat hot dog buffet with all you can drink soda.

Here's Patrick with his first of 3 hot dogs. He was so excited.

When Megan woke up this morning, the first thing she said to me was:

"Mommy, we are going to eat lots of hot dogs today, right?"

Although we didn't make it thorugh the entire game (just the 7th inning stretch) we had a wonderful time. It was a great memory and we even got to meet the Springfield Cardinal mascot.

Grandma and Grandpa are coming home today!

Well, we are going to be saying goodbye to Jason today. His Dad is going to come and get him, but we have had a wonderful time with him. He has been on "vacation" at our house for almost 2 weeks. Grandma and Grandpa visited California, and Jason's daycare was closed for a week, so it was decided that he would get to spend time with us. His Daddy came and visited every weekend staying for most of the day on Saturday and Sunday, but now his time with us must come to a close.

Patrick and Megan are going to miss having their cousin at the house...it has been so good for Patrick to have a little brother around. They have played so hard, but mostly they just torture Megan. We are going to miss you Jason.

Jason got his hair cut!!

We cut Uncle Chris' hair today and Patrick decided he wanted his cut as well. Once Jason saw that Patrick had gotten his hair cut, he wanted his hair cut also. Just then like it was meant to be Uncle Josh (Jason's Daddy) calls to see how he is doing and we ask if we could cut Jason's hair. He says yes, and the rest is history...

Oh, no Grandma...his hair is all gone. Don't worry. It will grow back!
